PASS Deutschland is celebrating 15 years at SQLKonferenz 2019! I’m honored that I get to be part of it. From February 19-21, I will be hanging out in Darmstadt, Germany with Damon the Data Monster – and a couple hundred other old and new friends :)
I attended my first SQLKonferenz in 2015, and had an absolutely fantastic time. It was the first multi-day SQL Server conference I ever attended, and it was only my third time speaking! I was a nervous wreck :) But things went well, I made new friends, and I have wanted to go back ever since. This is finally the year! :D
I spent the past couple of days in Darmstadt, Germany for Deutsche SQL Server Konferenz 2015. This was the first time I spoke at a conference (not a SQLSaturday), and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I want to thank PASS Deutschland for doing a fantastic job to make this a great event!
The one thing I would like to have changed is that I should have learned German before going to Darmstadt :) The quality of speakers, sessions and topics covered was very impressive, and there were many sessions in German that I wanted to see. But I can’t complain at all, I got to see some great sessions and have learned new things that I look forward to trying.
I will be speaking at Deutshce SQL Server Konferenz 2015 (#SQLKonferenz). The conference is from 3-5 February in Darmstadt, near Frankfurt. The first day is a PreCon day with Power Workshops, and the two other days are MainCon days with four parallel tracks: Administration, Business Intelligence, Development and Information Management.
My Biml introduction session called “Generate SSIS Packages Automatically with Biml and BimlScript” is scheduled for Thursday, February 5th. The lineup of speakers this year is amazing! I hope I get to attend as many sessions as possible myself.
Hope to see you there! Please say hi if you see me :)
